Yesterday, we had the pleasure of holding a Mihi Whakatau to welcome our new students into the embrace of our St Peter's College family. This special ceremony served as an expression of the values that define our Catholic identity and the spirit of inclusivity that permeates our school. The Mihi Whakatau is a traditional Maori welcome, a ritual that embodies the essence of hospitality and acceptance. It was a special moment as we opened our arms to our new students and their families, acknowledging the uniqueness they bring to our school community.
