I am thrilled and honoured to share with you the names of the students who will form this years Servant Leadership Council at St Peter’s College. It is with immense pride and joy that we announce the students who have been chosen to represent our school's core values of compassion, commitment, and community on this student council. These young individuals have exemplified outstanding qualities of leadership, empathy, and dedication, making them perfect candidates for these important roles. The Servant Leadership Council is an opportunity for our students to take an active part in shaping the future of our school community. Through their service, they will help uphold the values that lie at the heart of St. Peter's, fostering an environment of compassion, dedication, and unity.
Compassion: Our first core value, Compassion, is a pillar that ensures kindness and understanding prevail throughout our school. The members of the Servant Leadership Council will serve as beacons of compassion, leading by example and demonstrating to their peers the significance of empathy and support.
Commitment: The second core value, Commitment, embodies the perseverance and dedication we instil in our students to excel in both their academics and extracurricular pursuits. The council members' commitment to their roles will inspire their fellow students to embrace challenges and work diligently towards achieving their goals especially in sport and cultural pursuits.
Community: Our final core value, Community, binds us all together in a spirit of unity and cooperation. The council members will work tirelessly to enhance the sense of belonging within our school, organising events and initiatives that bring us closer together as one big family.
The Servant Leadership Council will meet fortnightly, allowing these young leaders to brainstorm and plan exciting initiatives for the school. Their ideas will centre around improving school life, fostering a supportive atmosphere, and encouraging personal growth for each student. From charity fundraisers and community outreach programmes to structured sports activities and extracurricular events, our Servant Leadership Council has the power to make a meaningful impact on our school community.
