This week, in conjunction with the St. Peter’s College Rugby Club, a Rugby Coaching course was held. We combined with Maruawai College to present this three-day course introducing the basics of coaching, including warm-up exercises, coaching plans, and health and safety.
On a very frosty Thursday morning, I caught up with the pupils as they started their practical sessions. Ana Maka from SPC and Chloe from Maruawai College set out a coaching session and took the rest of the group through the programme.
