On Wednesday we held our Matariki Festival. An amazing day was had by all, involving ki- o-rahi, poi making, rakau, weaving and of course kai!! Several other activities also ran very successfully. We were very fortunate to have a range of experts and volunteers come in to our kura to share their mÄtauranga (knowledge) with us. We are just sharing some photographs today, but there will be a full report in next week's newsletter from our Mareikura, Dixie-Leigh and Courtney.
