Kia ora St Peter’s Whānau,
A friendly reminder that next Wednesday, 6th March, marks St Peter’s annual Caritas Challenge Work Day. It’s a special opportunity for our students to lend a helping hand to those in need.
In keeping with our school motto - Charity fulfils the Law - we give away all our proceeds from Work Day. We've seen incredible generosity in the past, with our students raising an impressive $11,000 last year. Thanks to their efforts, we were able to support various worthy causes, including Cyclone Gabrielle relief, Caritas New Zealand, St Vincent de Paul, St John’s, the Salvation Army, Woman’s Refuge and the Southlandand more.
If your child hasn’t decided how to contribute yet, or if you happen to have any opportunities for paid employment for the day, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me at brendanterry@stpetersgore.school.nz.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
Ngā mihi nui
