During the first week of the July school holidays, the Southland Gymnastics Team attended the NZ Gymnastics National Championships held in Tauranga. Gymnasts start competing in March to qualify for the national event and this year the Southland team was made up of 27 athletes, who competed in four codes.
The following results include students from your school: Women's Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) Bronte Mackereth Step 6, 5th Beam & 8th Vault.
Qualifying for Nationals is an achievement, and Southland Gymnastics is very proud of our team this year.
