Kia ora e te whānau
Commitment holds deep meaning for many, and we can take pride in our commitment to following the path of faith within the Catholic tradition, a path initiated by one whose dedication was unmatched. This is Jesus Christ, who demonstrated unwavering resolve in the face of countless challenges, ensuring that His life and mission would leave an everlasting legacy. Jesus never wavered but persevered to establish a foundation of love, sacrifice, and truth—one that continues to inspire and guide us over 2,000 years later.
What we have seen during this year is commitment from each one of our young people across all aspects of College life and in the true Mercy and Rosminian spirits. This year we have been able to participate in almost every opportunity that presented itself without postponements or cancellations for the first time in years. We are proud of the achievements of our young people and encourage them to continue to show this commitment as they reach the business end of the academic year. With external NCEA examinations looming for our senior students it is commitment and drive that will ensure the best outcomes for their future endeavours and careers. May this verse from scripture inspire our young people and us to remain committed to doing good at all times – Galatians 6:9 “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
