Last Sunday the SPC Intermediate A Netball Team travelled down to Invercargill to compete in the Southland Secondary Schools Netball Tournament.
We played hard throughout the day coming away with three wins over Menzies, Maruawai and Verdon, and had two losses against Central Southland and Wakatipu - which wasn’t too bad as they went on to win overall.
Our team ended up coming 3rd in Pool A and we finished 5th out of 10 teams overall.
Thank you to Mrs Conlan for driving, coaching and, sure enough, entertaining our team throughout the day.
Also, thank you to Eve McKenzie who came with us as our umpire for the day. Eve was excellent out on court and was even given the Yr 10 Final to officiate.
