Principal's Comment

Kia ora e te whānau

I hope all of our students had a great break and took the opportunity to relax and refresh in preparation for Term Three. As the new term begins and we start to look ahead, we encourage our young people to set goals and make the most of the opportunities available to them, but we also need to be mindful that for many, particularly our seniors, this is the final full term of academic learning before NCEA external examinations.

As you have already been informed, after five wonderful years here at St Peter's College, I have made the difficult decision to resign as your Principal. This decision was not made lightly, and it comes from a place of deep reflection and prayer.

I am incredibly grateful for the time we have spent together. Many of you have touched my life in ways I will never forget. We have shared many successes, overcome challenges, and grown as a community. I am proud of all that we have accomplished together.

I want to assure you that the school is in great hands. The teachers and staff are committed to continuing the excellent work we’ve started. Plans are already in place to ensure a smooth transition, and I am confident that you will continue to thrive and achieve great things with a new Principal. I will be here until the end of the year to ensure continuity and stability for our community

Please know that this community will always hold a special place in my heart. I will be cheering our students on from afar and celebrating their successes.
