My name is Kolati-Lina Langford (Lina). I'm humbled to have recently joined St Peter's College as the International Administrator. It has been great to meet the many wonderful faces of staff and students alike and I look forward to contributing to the kaupapa which shapes our school community.
I was born in Samoa and moved to New Zealand at a young age. I grew up in Auckland where I did my schooling at Tangaroa College, Manukau Institute of Technology and Auckland University. I decided at my second year of university and after the sudden loss of my dad that I would enlist in the New Zealand Army where I proudly served our country for 14years, travelled the world and had some of the best, the saddest, the scariest and the most humbling experiences one could ever have. It is also where I met my husband Zane and went on to have two children, Keira and Levi, who both attend St Peter's College.
I recently returned from Samoa where Zane, the children and I had been living since pre-covid. There we raised the much needed funds to build our new primary school, a hall and sports grounds for our local community.
Over the last four years, I have worked in Projects and Events Management for our local community and for the Samoan Government as a private consultant, Consultation and Planning for Community Projects and Events and ran a home office assisting our locals with immigration, travel and administration services.
I look forward to adding value to my role as International Administrator and also making connections with our local community here through 'The Rosmini House Project', which I am co-ordinating in support of Rosmini House and our Schools Community.
