In preparation for Matariki celebrations the Year 11 and Year 12 Food classes have been making traditional Rewana (Maori bread) with Whaea Vanessa. This has been a huge success as we have learnt the customs and techniques for this bread making. The large loaves have been quickly devoured. The classes are excited about showing their Manaaki (hospitality) and making Rewana towards the end of the term to share with everyone at school.
