It was a beautiful, sunny day on the March 24th. We began the day with an early morning drive to Te Anau. Our first stop was the Te Anau Bird Sanctuary, where we could see and learn about the rare flightless takahe, kaka, and other birds. Next, we headed to the park for some fun and relaxation, and had a wonderful time. We ran around, played games, and laughed together, enjoying the freedom of being outdoors.
After our delicious meal at the cafe, we visited the Te Anau Glowworm Caves. We followed the informative guide and went into the dark cave with dim light. We saw tiny bugs glowing like stars filling the cave. It was a moment of pure wonder, etching unforgettable memories in our hearts. We ended our day trip in Te Anau with fresh fruit ice cream, and we all had great memories that would last for a lifetime.
