We had two teams who answered questions based on six books we had read this term.
To prepare, we had to organize ourselves and share the information we had learnt from each book with each other. Every team had to read the same six books. St Peter’s came in first and second. We didn’t have high hopes as we hadn’t entered the competition before; however, this time we managed to come out on top. The two St Peter’s teams jockeyed for first position throughout the competition. Between the rounds they also had questions open to the floor for small prizes. We had a great meal at the Ascot before we left. Thanks to Mrs Bell & Ms Heslip for transportation. We were very excited when we arrived and we were tired afterwards. Our winning team will be heading to Auckland in September for the National Final.
We will be looking for candidates for next year.
Team A consisted of: Zara Bell, Amy Davidson Watt, Jude Terry and Anthony Lambert
Team B consisted of: Oliver Gray, Lachlan Gray, Matilda Macleod, Melissa Steeghs
