Kia ora e te whānau

As we approach the conclusion of another vibrant school year, I find myself reflecting on the many blessings we have shared within our Catholic school community. It has been a year marked by growth, learning, and the grace of God working through our students, staff, and families.

This time of year invites us to pause and express gratitude to those who have made significant contributions to the life of our school. I would like to particularly highlight the Rugby Committee, whose dedication has been an integral part of our school’s journey this year and thank them for a lovely farewell last night.

Your tireless efforts in organising, supporting, and nurturing our students’ participation in rugby have not gone unnoticed. From the countless late night practices to the weekend games, your unwavering commitment has provided our students with opportunities to grow not just as players but as individuals who embody teamwork, discipline, and resilience.

Through your guidance, our rugby players have not only honed their skills but also embraced the values of sportsmanship and respect. These lessons extend far beyond the field and resonate deeply with the mission of Catholic education—forming young people who strive to be their best, both in spirit and in action.

The trips you’ve coordinated, the fundraising efforts you’ve championed, and the sacrifices of your time and energy have enriched our school community in ways that words cannot fully express. On behalf of the staff, students, and families, thank you for being such a vital part of our school’s story this year.

As we prepare to close the chapter on this academic year, let us be inspired by the countless moments of grace and achievement that have unfolded in our school. May we also look ahead with hope, knowing that our shared mission is rooted in faith and the promise of Christ’s love for every member of our community.

Let us continue to pray for one another, especially for those who may find this time of year particularly challenging. May we find rest, renewal, and the courage to carry forward the work of Catholic education with the same spirit of service and dedication that has defined this year.

Thank you all for your leadership, faith, and commitment to the mission we share. May the Holy Spirit guide you as you navigate these final weeks of the school year.
