On Wednesday night, October 20th, four teams of four students, from Years 7 & 8 travelled to James Hargest High School for the annual SMAC Maths competition.
It was an intense competition right from the start, with teams aiming to solve as many questions as they can in twenty minutes.
From the gallery, supporters watched their teams work collaboratively and quickly, while trying to keep score of the questions teams got correct.
All four teams did an amazing job and after the nerves settled were into the swing of things.
No placings this year, but a lot of excitement already for next year.
