On Monday, December 2nd, the Year 10’s from SPC were invited down to SIT in Invercargill to experience a "taster day" of the range of courses offered. There were a variety of courses that ranged from nursing to beauty therapy, automotive to hairdressing, electrical to sports and so much more.
It provided a fun, hands-on experience for the students. We all had a great time trying out our choices for different careers options in the future. On behalf of the year 10’s we want to thank Mrs. Perniskie and Mrs Delahunt for this rare experience and the other teachers that came with us as well.
