The St Peter’s College PTFA is looking for new members as some of our existing committee have retired now that their children have graduated and headed off to Tertiary Education or employment.
We are a small crew whose aim is to fundraise to provide the little extras for the school to enhance students' learning, progress and well-being. For example, funds towards the bike trailer for Borland, tents for Duke of Edinburgh, spin bikes for the gym… you get the idea.
Our next meeting is on Tuesday April 8th in the staff room at 7pm.
We generally have a quick meeting, plan our next project and fundraising options and are done in a couple of hours - maybe once every 6-8weeks.
Ideally we are looking for a new Treasurer and three or four committee members.
It is a great way to connect with the school community and it feels good to be doing something worthwhile.
