Our St Peter's trio of Hip Hoppers—Sabrina Chan, Dada Chantaraviroj, and Aaliyah Silvestre—finished off the competition year in style when they headed to the Southland Competitions in Invercargill over the holidays. Competing in the 16 Years and Over duo/trio section, in a strong class that showcased performances in Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, and Contemporary, they wowed the judge with their synchronized timing and crisp moves, taking home the win. They were also awarded the Invercargill Licensing Trust Trophy and Monetry Award for the Most Promising Trio Overall. Well done, girls, on what has been a full competition year with some outstanding results.
Also, a huge congratulations to Phoebe Davidson-Watts and her dance partner Heidi, who traveled to Auckland over the school holidays to compete in the Velocity Dance Finals. They were crowned Grand Champions in the open duos age 11 and 12 category—an incredible achievement for their first year dancing as a duo! Many thanks to their talented teacher, Samantha Marsh, for helping them reach such success.
We look forward to seeing what you bring to the stage in 2025!
