This week we acknowledged another one of our up and coming home grown girls. It was a pleasure to present Milly Corcoran with her player pin as she took the field on Monday afternoon for her last game of club rugby for this 2023 campaign.
Milly started her playing career at Albion and is following in her Mum's footsteps with rugby in her blood. Her cousins are equally as inspiring!
Awesome job Milly 🙌 we love watching you work hard week by week.
SPC rugby club and community would publicly like to acknowledge the amazing and generous Hugo Trust who, through their generous donation have enabled us to secure this fantastic scoreboard, the container and the generator that runs the board.
A big thank you too, our friends at Beatties who donated the trailer - amazing!
Father & son duo Steve & Justin Evans also contributed a great deal of time & energy to this project. Equally, our other generous sponsors enabled the mahi to get this off the ground. These local business are named on the scoreboard - please support them where you can.
Thanks to this combined team effort!
Best of luck to our Progressive Livestock First XV who take on Southland Boys at 10am at SPC on Saturday morning. We have confidence in you lads to secure a spot in the final. You are up for this challenge!
Thanks to our dedicated Coaches and Managers who have provided our rugby players with new skills, new techniques & combinations, alongside making rugby enjoyable for us this season.
Thanks to you that have given us prompt communication around games and times and logistically organised us. We value your coaching skills and acknowledge the hard work that goes on behind the scenes to ensure our players grow and develop in this game we are so passionate about.
A shout out to you all - some have finished this season and look towards tournaments. Other teams are vying for a finals spot, while others wait for their last game of the season. Keep up the great work and playing with pride and positivity!
