On 28 – 30th September 2024, Cian Smith travelled to Christchurch where he competed at the South Island & NZ Secondary Schools Clay Target Shooting Champs.
This was Cian’s first time competing at this level and he did extremely well. In the single barrel event, Cian came so close to the shoot off for first place, only missing out by one target. Cian had an awesome time getting to know the other shooters and will keep training over the summer to get ready for Nationals next year which are in Hamilton.
