The Great Outdoors class has just completed their course assessment with a day at Camp Columba, doing archery, abseiling, flying kiwi, and kayaking. This was followed by an 11km day tramp up the Kiwiburn Track at Mavora. The ākonga were outstanding in all the activities and thoroughly enjoyed themselves while also experiencing firsthand the importance of risk management and how to mitigate risks.
