Izzy Arthur and Jaxon Friend competed in the National Wrestling Championships last weekend in Tauranga and did really well competing against NZ’s best.
Jaxon is the 15 year old 62-68kg NZ Champion, winning four tough bouts and bringing home the gold medal.
Izzy competed in both the Under 15 year old and Under 17 year old female categories in her weight division, placing second in both categories, bringing home two silver medals. She fought really well against the U17 Oceania medalist.
